Mark worked for a long time, thoughtfully standing and observing his work. He would gently touch his cheek and run his hand over his new painting. Like many Israelis, Mark is deeply troubled by the sorrow our country is experiencing. In his own way, he fights for the release of the hostages—through paint, brushes, and canvas. We are all hostages of this terrible war.
